T4 PMS unit and split charger

Hi All - just recently joined the forum

I have recently purchased my first T4 campervan, been running great but this when i went to go out in it, the van would not start - identified that the vehicle battery was depleted.

I have purchased a new one and it is now back to normal. I did a full check and couldn’t find anything that i may have left on that would have caused the power drain.

The van has a split charge relay and it has a bonus electrical PMS 3H power management system installed.

I am very new to all this so need some advice. When the van is not being used should the 12v split charge relay still sound like it is running under the bonnet, as i can hear it humming ? Is this causing the actual vehicle battery to go flat ? If so how do i stop the relay from running once i turn of the engine ?

Any help from the experience camper van community would be great

Regards
Mark
